Supporting the East Sales Region, the Senior Manager, Ad Sales Promotions, Crackle / Sony Pictures Television is responsible for the creation of custom sales proposals and project manage the execution of integrated marketing ad campaigns to enable the ad sales team to sell innovative digital advertising solutions (both to external advertisers and Sony affiliated advertisers).
Specifically, the Senior Manager, Ad Sales Promotions will support the East Region sales team and the Director, Ad Solutions by customizing compelling and strategic proposals that not only meet the advertisers? marketing objectives, but also support Crackle?s editorial and brand mission. Based in the NY Crackle office, the Sr. Mgr. will also interact regularly with the regional lead (currently Vice President of Sales) for field input, sales strategy, prioritization guidance and problem-solving related to the East region. In many cases, this individual will also shepherd the implementation of integrated marketing campaigns that go beyond media delivery and involve custom production, promotions, branded entertainment etc.
Key Responsibilities:
? Customize ad proposals and packages that fulfill advertiser objectives and utilize either defined off-the-shelf ad solution opportunities, current & upcoming programming content or new product releases
o Create packages in response to RFPs and sales requests
o Collaborate extensively with sales, programming, product, ad operations, marketing, research and creative to create custom proposals for target clients
? Project manage the non-media executions of ad packages
o Provide direction to ad ops, programming, product and marketing
o Packages may include custom digital production, original video content production, social media outreach programs, contests, etc.
? Track proposals and success of packages to create a library of case studies
? Contribute in product development to define opportunity for custom ad integration
Key skills:
? 6- 8 years digital ad agency or ad sales marketing experience
? Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate ideas and concepts
? Sharp business sense, resourceful, innovative and responsive to change
? Deep understanding of digital ad marketplace, pricing and key players (online, mobile/tablet, connected TV, gaming consoles and social media)
? Passion for movie, TV and entertainment
? Knowledge of online, mobile, interactive video rich media ad technologies
? Project management expertise and ability to lead cross-functional teams
? Proven skills in problem-solving, follow-through, attention to detail and priority setting
? A passion for creativity and drive to develop rich, dynamic and exceptionally effective advertising strategies
? Excellent computer skills ? highly proficient with Powerpoint, Keynote and Excel
? MBA Preferred
